Abandoned Mansion
Basement, Montraj Coach Sukhumvit, 41 Soi Sukhumvit 14, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110
Daily 17:30-02:00

Abandoned Mansion is a Prohibition-themed cocktail bar in the basement of the Montraj Coach Sukhumvit hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 14, near Asok. Guests walk down a red-carpeted staircase into a high-ceilinged lounge of velvet sofas, dark wood and gold accents, where local bands play live jazz every night. The cocktail list is named after 1930s gangsters, such as the John Dillinger and the Bonnie and Clyde, and drinks arrive with theatrical props; bar food and a cigar area are also on offer. Reviewers praise the music and the friendly, attentive staff, and solo visitors say they feel welcome. It is a short walk from BTS Asok. Open daily 17:30 to 02:00, with upscale prices; booking ahead is wise at weekends.

Visitors love the moody underground jazz-club setting, the nightly live singers and the creative theatrical cocktails, served by warm, attentive staff.
It gets full and slow on busy weekend nights, prices are high, and a few guests found the food lukewarm.
