Aksra Theatre is a 600-seat auditorium on the 3rd floor of the duty-free complex on Rang Nam Road, a short walk from Victory Monument in Ratchathewi. Its Baroque-inspired hall is dressed in Thai traditional art, and for years it was the home of Aksra Hun Lakhon Lek, a puppet show with scenes from the Ramayana epic, live Thai music and classical dance. Today it mostly hosts one-off events such as talks, competitions and stage performances, and visitors praise the decor, the cleanliness and the clear sound, even from the front rows. There is no fixed daily programme, so check ticket listings or call before you go; prices depend on the event. BTS Victory Monument and BTS Phaya Thai are both a short walk away, and the car park in the complex can be slow at busy times.

Visitors love the ornate Thai-style hall, how clean it is and how clear the sound is from every seat.
The car park is slow at busy times, the restrooms are awkward for older guests, and there is no fixed public show schedule.
