Cabbages & Condoms is a Thai restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 12, a few minutes' walk from Sukhumvit Road near BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit. It was set up to promote family planning and sexual health, and its profits support the work of the Population and Community Development Association. Visitors come for the setting as much as the food: a large garden courtyard lit by fairy lights, indoor rooms, and playful art and figures built around the theme, with condoms handed out instead of after-dinner mints. The long menu covers dishes from across Thailand, from satay and tom yum to massaman and green curries, with most mains between 200 and 500 baht. Open daily 11:00 to 23:00; a service charge is added to the bill.
