Central Pinklao
7/222 Borommaratchachonnani Road, Arun Amarin, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok 10700
Mon-Fri 10:30-21:30; Sat-Sun 10:00-22:00

Central Pinklao is one of the big neighbourhood malls on the Thonburi side of the river, opened in 1995 and later renovated with a brighter interior and an LED-lit facade. It sits on Borommaratchachonnani Road at the foot of the Pinklao area in Bangkok Noi and spreads over six levels with a department store, a supermarket, a cinema with an IMAX screen, a food court and a long list of Thai, Japanese, Korean and international chain restaurants. Visitors like its size, cleanliness and huge free car park, and many find it less crowded than the city-centre malls. It is not connected to the BTS or MRT; the nearest station is MRT Bang Yi Khan, roughly a 15-minute walk away. Hours are 10:30-21:30 on weekdays and 10:00-22:00 at weekends. Entry is free.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (27,443 reviews). Not our own visit.
A big, clean, easy-going mall with plenty of food choices and generous free parking, without the crush of the downtown malls.
No rail station at the door, and recent visitors mention construction knocking out escalators and long queues for some restrooms.
