Central Rama 2 is a big Central Pattana shopping centre on Rama II Road in Bang Khun Thian, open since 2002 and reworked in a major expansion and renovation around 2022. It holds more than 350 shops over five floors, including a Central department store, Tops Food Hall, a food court, a Major Cineplex cinema and a bowling alley, plus the forest-themed Tree Chamber dining annex and a large outdoor green space. Families come for the kids' play zones and the wide spread of Thai and Japanese restaurants. There is no rail line nearby: most visitors drive and use the parking for about 3,200 cars, or ride one of the city buses that stop at the mall. It opens at 11:00 on weekdays and 10:00 at weekends, closing between 21:30 and 22:00. Entry is free.
