Chesa is a Swiss restaurant that served Sukhumvit for nearly 25 years from Soi 20 before moving in 2025 to a converted house in the lanes of Sukhumvit Soi 34, which can also be reached from Soi 26. It is a relaxed, homely place for traditional Swiss comfort food: several kinds of cheese fondue, with Fondue Bacchus the diners' favourite, raclette, crisp rosti, veal bratwurst with onion sauce, Wiener schnitzel and capuns, the Swiss chard dumplings. For dessert there are vermicelles, a chestnut puree with meringue and cream. The wine list runs to more than 60 bottles, some of them Swiss. A weekday set lunch starts at about 450 baht plus service and VAT, and there is a Sunday Swiss barbecue brunch; dinner sits at the upper end of Bangkok prices. Listings give daily hours from 11:00 to 21:00 or later.

Regulars love the authentic Swiss cooking, the cheese fondues and the warm, attentive service.
It is expensive for Bangkok, and a few diners found a fondue too thin or the bread below par.
