Chit Hole Royal River
439 Ratchawithi Road (through The Royal River Hotel, riverside level), Bang Phlat, Bangkok 10700
Daily 17:00-24:00

Chit Hole Royal River is a craft beer taproom on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya River, reached through The Royal River Hotel and down the stairs to a large riverside patio. It is the first Bangkok taproom of Chit Beer, the Koh Kret brewpub, and it pours around 18 rotating taps of Thai craft beer, from the house Chit Beer to black lagers and hazy NEIPAs. Guests come for the river view, best after dark when the Krung Thon Bridge lights up, and for easygoing live Thai music. Food is simple, and dishes can also be ordered from the hotel kitchen. Reviewers find the beer prices fair for craft beer in Bangkok. The bar is at 439 Ratchawithi Road in Bang Phlat, about 900 m from MRT Sirindhorn, and opens daily from 17:00 to midnight.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (471 reviews). Not our own visit.
Drinkers love sipping well-made Thai craft beer on the riverbank while the bridge lights up, with friendly staff happy to recommend a pour.
Craft beer prices are on the high side, the open-air patio can feel humid, and some nights it is very quiet.
