Chong Nonsi Skywalk is the elevated pedestrian bridge that spans the busy Sathorn-Narathiwat junction beside BTS Chong Nonsi, built to carry office workers between the Skytrain and the surrounding towers without crossing the traffic below. Its white steel arches and the view straight down Sathorn Road, with skyscrapers on both sides and streams of headlights underneath, have made it one of Bangkok's best-known night photo spots, and it has appeared in films and music videos. Dusk and the blue hour are the favourite times for photos, while weekday mornings and early afternoons are calmer than the evening rush. A visit takes ten minutes or so and pairs easily with the Mahanakhon tower a short walk away. The walkway is public and free, and it links straight into the BTS station.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (322 reviews). Not our own visit.
Visitors love the sweeping skyline view down Sathorn Road and the striking arches, especially when the lights come on at dusk.
It is a working commuter bridge, so it gets crowded at rush hour and is really only a short photo stop.
