Dib Bangkok is a contemporary art museum that opened on 21 December 2025 in a converted 1980s steel warehouse at the south end of Sukhumvit Soi 40, off Rama IV Road. Founded by businessman Petch Osathanugrah and now led by his son Purat, it holds over 1,000 works by more than 200 Thai and international artists, shown across eleven galleries, an outdoor sculpture courtyard and spaces designed by WHY Architecture. Visitors come for the building as much as the art, including large installations and a light work by James Turrell; allow about one and a half hours. It opens Thursday to Monday from 10:00 to 19:00 and closes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tickets are bought in advance online with timed entry: about 700 baht for foreigners, 550 baht for Thais, with student rates. The ground-floor courtyard is free.

What visitors love

Visitors rave about the striking warehouse architecture, the calm uncrowded galleries and a handful of world-class immersive works.

Good to know

Tickets are expensive by Bangkok standards and must be pre-booked for a time slot, and the soi location is awkward to reach without a taxi.
