EmQuartier is a large shopping mall on Sukhumvit Road in Watthana, opened in May 2015 by The Mall Group as part of its EM District with Emporium and EmSphere, next to Benchasiri Park. Designed by Leeser Architecture with Boiffils, it is split into the Helix, Glass and Waterfall Quartiers, and people go for the five-storey waterfall, the open-air Helix Sky Garden on the 5th floor, the spiral of dining terraces stacked above it, an 8-screen cinema with an IMAX theatre, and a mix of international and Thai fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands; the building won a Prix Versailles special prize in 2018. The mall is connected directly by skybridge to BTS Phrom Phong station on the Sukhumvit Line, and skywalks link it to Emporium and EmSphere on the other side of Sukhumvit Road. Open Monday to Sunday 10:00-22:00; entry is free, and the EM District call centre answers on +66 2 269 1000.
