EmSphere is the newest of The Mall Group's three EM District malls on Sukhumvit Road, opened on 1 December 2023 on the former Washington Square site between Sois 22 and 24 in Khlong Toei, at a cost of about 15 billion baht and with some 200,000 square metres of floor space. It is known for the EM Market food hall on the ground floor, with counters ranging from Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu and Nara Thai Kitchen to Bread Street Kitchen and Shake Shack, for IKEA Sukhumvit on the 3rd floor, Thailand's first city-centre IKEA, for luxury car showrooms on the 2nd floor, for the EM Wonder nightlife floor with the Tribe rooftop beach club and pool, and for UOB Live, a 6,000-seat arena on the top floor that opened with an Ed Sheeran concert on 11 February 2024. A decorated skywalk connects the mall directly to BTS Phrom Phong station. Open Monday to Sunday 10:00-22:00; entry is free, and Tribe applies minimum spends at weekends.

Visitors love the polished, spotless design and the sheer choice of places to eat, plus the giant IKEA and live music that make it a full day out.
It is huge and can feel overwhelming, and many of the restaurants and shops are priced at premium mall levels.
