Fashion Island is one of Bangkok's largest suburban shopping centres, opened in 1995 on Ram Inthra Road in Khan Na Yao and joined in 2012 by The Promenade wing. Around 300 shops sit alongside Central The Store, Big C, Don Don Donki, HomePro, Nitori and a Tops supermarket, plus two cinemas, food courts and the Harborland indoor playground, so families from the eastern suburbs come for a full day out. Visitors praise the wide choice of shops and restaurants, reasonable prices and the large car parks. Since 2023 the MRT Pink Line has stopped at Outer Ring Road - Ram Inthra station beside the mall, which makes the trip from central Bangkok much easier than before. Most floors are open daily from 10:00 to 21:00, with the basement level open until 22:00. Entry is free.

What visitors love

Visitors love having almost everything under one roof, from department stores and hardware to cinemas and kids' play zones, at prices below the city-centre malls.

Good to know

It sits far out on the eastern ring road, taxi drivers can get lost on the highway turns, and covered walkways crowded with food stalls get congested.
