Gaggan Anand

Thu-Mon, lunch and dinner; closed Tue and Wed

Gaggan Anand is the progressive Indian restaurant of chef Gaggan Anand at 68 Sukhumvit Soi 31 in Watthana, styled by the restaurant as 'a food theatre'. It holds one Michelin star in the 2026 Michelin Guide Thailand, promoted from Michelin Selected, and ranked No.6 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 and No.3 on Asia's 50 Best 2026. The meal runs to more than 20 courses served at a 14-seat chef's counter, with courses represented by emojis, dishes eaten by hand and a rock soundtrack; the long-running 'Lick It Up' course of vegetable-dyed holi colours remains, and recent menus have woven in the Louis Vuitton monogram from the chef's collaboration with the fashion house. The house is about 15 minutes' walk from BTS Phrom Phong or MRT Phetchaburi. It opens Thursday to Monday for lunch and dinner and closes Tuesday and Wednesday. Tables are requested through SevenRooms on the official site; 50 Best lists the tasting menu from US$495 and a 2026 guide puts it at about 16,000 baht.

Guests love the loud, playful, theatrical counter show with inventive Indian dishes eaten by hand.
