Gim Nguan Noodle is a small fish ball noodle shop down Soi Chom Thong 16 in Chom Thong, on the Thonburi side of the city, serving the same bowl since 1999 and holding a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand (first named in 2021, again in the 2026 guide). The fish balls are made fresh, with a springy bite, in a savoury, aromatic broth with noodles cooked just right. You can also order egg noodles in a creamy tom yum broth, and add extras such as cheese or a poached egg. Bowls are large and prices low. It opens Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 16:30 and is a short taxi ride from BTS Wutthakat.
