Holy Rosary Church, known locally as Kalawar Church, is a Catholic parish church on the Chao Phraya riverbank in Talat Noi, at 1318 Yotha Road off Soi Wanit 2. Its story begins with Portuguese Catholics who settled here after the fall of Ayutthaya; a wooden church stood on the site from 1787, and the present cream-coloured Gothic Revival building was completed in 1897. Visitors come for the tall spire, the gilded arches inside and the stained-glass windows, often rated among the finest in Thailand. Mass is said in Thai and on Sundays also in Chinese, and on Good Friday evening a statue of the body of Christ is carried in procession. Entry is free. Listed opening times centre on late afternoon and Sunday morning, so check before you go. MRT Hua Lamphong is about 800 m away.

Visitors love the riverside Gothic facade and the calm, colourful light the stained-glass windows throw across the interior.
The church sits inside school grounds and is often locked outside service times, so many visitors only get to see the outside.
