Jae Lee Vegan
188 Charoen Krung Soi 14, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100
Daily 08:00-17:30

Jae Lee Vegan is a family-run vegetarian (jay) eatery in a side lane off Charoen Krung Road in Chinatown, recognisable by its yellow and red jay flags. It works like a street food stall: the kitchen is on one side of the lane and simple tables face the wall on the other. Everything is plant-based, with more than 30 Thai and Chinese dishes made with tofu, glass noodles, rice and vegetables, cooked to order and most priced around 40 to 60 baht. Reviewers praise the pad thai, basil stir-fries, tom yum and noodle dishes, the generous plates and the picture menu that helps non-Thai speakers. It is open daily from 08:00 to 17:30, making it a lunch rather than dinner stop.
