Joyman Gallery
357-359 Maha Chai Road, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200
Tue-Sun 11:00-18:00, closed Monday

Joyman Gallery is a contemporary art gallery on Maha Chai Road in the Old Town, open since 2018 and spread over two exhibition rooms. It shows rotating exhibitions by emerging and established artists from Thailand and abroad, mostly painting and sculpture, and much of the work is for sale alongside prints, postcards and t-shirts. Visitors describe a calm, air-conditioned and spotless space with a curated feel and staff who are happy to talk about the art. It sits among the temples and old shophouses near the Giant Swing and Loha Prasat, so it fits easily into an Old Town walk. The nearest station is MRT Sam Yot, about 10 minutes away on foot. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 18:00, and entry is free.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (115 reviews). Not our own visit.
Visitors love the cool, roomy and very clean space, the thoughtfully curated shows of local artists and the friendly, knowledgeable team.
It is a small two-room gallery, so a visit is short and what you see depends entirely on the current exhibition.
