Kalamansi Kafe is a Filipino restaurant on Suan Phlu Road in Sathorn, named after the small citrus that flavours many Filipino dishes. It grew out of a home delivery kitchen that owner Sandy Lopez started during the Covid lockdowns, and a Filipino kitchen team now turns out home-style classics: pork belly adobo with crispy adobo flakes and a soft-boiled egg, oxtail kare-kare, chicharon bulaklak, grilled milkfish and halo-halo in single or sharing sizes. Plates are large and meant for sharing, and there are Filipino beers and cocktails. The two-storey space has outdoor tables and Filipino art on the walls. MRT Lumphini is about 1 km away; drivers use the paid car park next door. It opens 10:00 to 21:00 and closes on Tuesdays. Prices are mid-range for the area.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (1,078 reviews). Not our own visit.
Diners rave about big, home-style Filipino plates, good cocktails and warm staff who treat guests like family.
There is no car park of its own, so drivers have to use the paid lot next door, and a few diners found some dishes salty.
