Kin Kub Koi is a large seafood restaurant on Phutthamonthon Sai 2 Road in Thawi Watthana, on Bangkok's western edge, with a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand every year from 2023 to 2026. Its owner, known as Koi, ran a seafood restaurant in Samut Sakhon before, and her family's wholesale seafood business supplies the kitchen, which keeps the fish and shellfish very fresh and the prices fair. Regulars order steamed sea bass with lime, stir-fried squid with salted egg, grilled river prawns and stir-fried crab with bitter beans and shrimp paste; the crab rice is a signature. There are four dining areas, indoors and in a leafy courtyard, and service stays calm even when it is full. It opens daily from 10:30 to 20:30. Come early at weekends, and plan on a car or taxi.
