Kor Panich is a Thai sweet shop on Tanao Road in the old city, founded in 1932 by Kab and Sarapee Chiabchalard and still run by the family. Its mango sticky rice uses sticky rice from Chiang Rai, Nam Dok Mai and Ok Rong mangoes and coconuts from Chumphon, and the cream is pressed from grated coconut; custard-topped sticky rice and, in season, durian sticky rice are the alternatives, and mango vendors sell fruit outside. The shop is listed in the Michelin Guide Bangkok, and Tripadvisor reviews from January and February 2026 confirm it is trading. It sits a 2-minute walk from the Tiger God Shrine, near the Giant Swing, about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from MRT Sam Yot. Hours are roughly 07:00 to 18:00; sources disagree on Sunday opening, so check ahead. A portion cost about 100 baht in 2019 and everything is served in takeaway packaging; a partner venue across the road offers seating.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (3,040 reviews). Not our own visit.
Reviewers call it some of the best mango sticky rice in the city, with well-judged rice, ripe mango and clean coconut sweetness.
It is pricier than street stalls, you may wait for a ticket or table, and the shop is closed on Sundays.
