Kwan Riam is a weekend floating market in Min Buri, in eastern Bangkok, set along a canal between Wat Bamphen Nuea and Wat Bamphen Tai. Wooden Thai-style buildings, canal-side stalls and boat noodles and desserts make it a calm, photogenic stop. Many visitors arrive early on weekends to watch monks collect alms from boats, which wraps up by around 08:00. A short boat ride along the canal costs about 10 baht, and there are fish to feed. It is quieter than the better-known floating markets, though some find the food choice limited off-peak. It opens on weekends and holidays from about 07:00. There is no rail link, so most people come by road, by taxi or bus along Ramkhamhaeng.

Visitors love the peaceful canal setting, the traditional wooden houses and the early weekend alms-giving by boat.
