Le Du is a modern Thai tasting-menu restaurant on Silom Soi 7, founded by chef Thitid 'Ton' Tassanakajohn, a Culinary Institute of America graduate and Eleven Madison Park alumnus; the name comes from the Thai word for 'season'. It has held one Michelin star since 2019 and retained it in the 2026 Michelin Guide Thailand; it was No.30 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 and No.36 on Asia's 50 Best 2026. The kitchen pairs seasonal Thai produce with modern technique, and 50 Best singles out the signature khao chae of shrimp and pork pâté, pickled radish and jasmine ice cream. The restaurant is about 4 minutes' walk from BTS Chong Nonsi. Lunch runs Thursday to Saturday and dinner Monday to Saturday. Two menus are offered, of 4 or 6 courses, priced at 4,500 baht ('Le Du Journey') and 5,500 baht ('Le Du Experience') plus 10% service and 7% VAT, booked through CoverManager; groups above 5 must take the 6-course menu, and changes need 72 hours' notice.

Good to know

It is a costly tasting menu, and a few reviewers felt individual courses did not live up to the price and accolades.
