Mohsen Restaurant
6 Soi Prachum, Silom Road, Suriya Wong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Mon-Sat 11:00-21:00, closed Sunday

Mohsen Restaurant is a small Iranian (Persian) restaurant on Soi Prachum, a quiet lane off Silom Road in Bang Rak, and one of the more affordable ways to try Persian food in Bangkok. The setting is simple: white walls, cushioned seats and glass-topped tables, kept clean and tidy. Diners come for grilled kebabs, especially the saffron chicken joojeh and the minced koobideh, plus dill rice, crispy tahdig, smoky kashk bademjan, creamy hummus and the salty yogurt drink doogh. A meal usually costs a few hundred baht per person. It opens Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 21:00 and is closed on Sunday. Payment is cash only and no alcohol is served. BTS Chong Nonsi and Surasak are each about 12 minutes on foot.
Rating from public reviews

Diners enjoy tender saffron chicken and koobideh kebabs, good dill rice and tahdig, and a filling Persian meal at a low price in a clean, friendly room.
Some find the bread not fresh and certain dishes milder or less authentic than in Iran, and it only takes cash.
