Nop Nan Vegan
77, 31 Charoen Krung 63 Alley, Yan Nawa, Sathon, Bangkok 10120
Mon-Sat 10:00-20:00, closed Sunday

Nop Nan Vegan is a humble, family-run, fully vegan eatery in a small alley off Charoen Krung Soi 63 in Sathon. It cooks a very long menu of Thai and Japanese dishes, many of them made with mock meat or mock fish, alongside a counter of ready-cooked buffet dishes for a quick plate. Regulars come back for the vegan pad thai, fried rice, mock duck, stir-fried broccoli, sushi and tempura, and dishes cost roughly 60 to 80 baht. The dining room is small and casual and a lot of trade is takeaway; staff are friendly, although English can be limited. It opens Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00 and closes on Sunday. BTS Saphan Taksin and Sathorn pier are about an 8 minute walk away.

Diners love the cheap, generous plates and the huge choice of tasty mock meat dishes, with the vegan pad thai a clear favourite.
The room is small and simple, English is limited, and some dishes come out quite sweet or very spicy unless you ask.
