Octave Rooftop Lounge and Bar occupies the top floors of the Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit in Thonglor, with a restaurant on the 45th floor and open-air bars rising to a circular bar on the 49th, where a 360-degree terrace looks along the length of Sukhumvit and out to the Chao Phraya. Time Out notes that with no tall buildings nearby the sunset views are especially clear and that the crowd mixes locals, expats and visitors; resident DJs play nightly, and the menu runs to Asian bar bites, a seafood bar and grill dishes alongside signature cocktails and craft beer, with happy hour deals early in the evening. BTS Thong Lo, exit 3, is steps from the hotel door on Sukhumvit Soi 57. Open daily 17:00-02:00 according to the hotel. Tables can be reserved through the hotel's booking page and are advisable for dining; the dress code is smart casual, with sportswear, flip-flops and sleeveless tops for men not permitted.
