Paste is a creative Thai restaurant on the 3rd floor of Gaysorn Village at 999 Ploenchit Road, next to the InterContinental hotel, run by chef Bongkoch 'Bee' Satongun, named Asia's Best Female Chef 2018 by the World's 50 Best, and her husband Jason Bailey. Opened in 2015, it earned a Michelin star in the inaugural 2018 Michelin Guide Bangkok, though it does not appear on the 2026 star list reported by The Beat Asia. The kitchen researches and revives recipes from aristocratic families and heritage cookbooks; 50 Best cites a panang curry of grain-fed black angus beef and a chargrilled langoustine salad with northern forest ingredients, served in a room with curved booths and a silk cocoon sculpture. BTS Chit Lom (Exit 1) is the nearest station, and parking is free. Open daily for lunch 12:00-15:30 and dinner 18:00-23:00; reservations by phone or email; dress code smart casual. A 2025 review lists tasting menus at 4,200 baht (lunch) and 5,100 baht (dinner) plus tax and service.
