Pho Van Vietnamese Restaurant
560 Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok 10240
Daily 10:30-21:30

Pho Van is a family-run Vietnamese restaurant on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24 in Hua Mak, close to ABAC's Hua Mak campus and behind the Rajamangala national stadium. The owners are from Hanoi and the kitchen focuses on northern Vietnamese cooking, above all pho bac, a beef pho with a broth simmered for many hours. Regulars also order the nem nuong grilled pork rolls with rice paper that needs no soaking, Hanoi imperial spring rolls, sugarcane shrimp and banh mi, finished with a lime yogurt. The air-conditioned room is cosy and seats roughly 40, and staff get warm words. Expect a few hundred baht per person. It opens daily from about 10:30 to 21:30. There is no dedicated car park; diners often park at the stadium and cross the road.
