Platinum Pop is the new name of The Market Bangkok, the six-storey mall on Ratchadamri Road directly opposite CentralWorld and next to Big C. The group behind Platinum Fashion Mall relaunched it in 2026, and phase one opened on 30 June 2026 with Lai Jie, a food zone styled on Yaowarat with more than 150 food, beauty and souvenir outlets on the G and M floors, including well-known Chinatown names. The mall also holds a large House of Little Bunny bag flagship and a big Thai skincare store, and a second phase is planned for early 2027. Visitors like that it is calmer and roomier than its busy neighbours, though some units still sit empty. The skywalk links it to BTS Chit Lom, about six minutes on foot. Open daily from 10:00; entry is free.
