River City Bangkok
23 Charoen Krung Soi 24, Talat Noi, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100
Daily 10:00-20:00

River City Bangkok is a four-storey riverside centre for art and antiques on Charoen Krung Soi 24, next to Si Phraya Pier at the edge of Talat Noi. Collectors browse shops selling Buddha images, ceramics, old maps, prints and wood carvings, while the upper floors host contemporary art exhibitions, talks, film screenings and auctions. A waterfront promenade has restaurants with Chao Phraya views. Reviewers enjoy the calm, air-conditioned galleries, but several say the antique floors are quieter than in past decades and many shops close early, so daytime visits work best. Antiques and Buddha images may need permits to leave Thailand. It is open daily 10:00 to 20:00, entry is free, and the easiest way in is by Chao Phraya boat.
