Rommani Thungsikan Park
Chong Phuwanon Road, Don Mueang, Bangkok 10210
Daily 05:00-21:00

Rommani Thungsikan Park is a small neighbourhood park in Don Mueang, set on about 15 rai of former woodland and opened in 2005. Big shady trees, Thai-style pavilions and a moat crossed by wooden bridges give it a quiet, green feel, and reviewers call it compact, clean and safe. Local residents come for the 500-metre walking and jogging loop, open-air aerobics, a 12-station outdoor gym, the playground, fish feeding and a community vegetable garden; late afternoon is the favourite time to visit. The city has announced repairs to the ageing wooden bridges and an extra toilet block. The park is on Chong Phuwanon Road in Don Mueang, with no rail station within easy walking distance and parking for only about 15 cars. It is open daily from 05:00 to 21:00 and entry is free.

Neighbours love how shady, tidy and safe this little woodland park feels, especially for an evening walk or jog.
It is small with only a short loop, parking is tight, and the old wooden bridges have been showing their age.
