Sarnies Bangkok is the Thai outpost of the Singapore cafe group of the same name; it opened in December 2018 inside a restored Charoen Krung Soi 44 shophouse more than 150 years old that was once a boat repair shop, and the brick walls and concrete were kept in the refit. It is known for coffee roasted in-house and a brunch menu with Thai and Australian accents: thick sourdough sandwiches stacked with house-cured bacon, Taleggio and cheddar, kimchi or smoked salmon, grain bowls, and a big breakfast with Chiang Mai sausage, with flat whites and cold brew from the bar. The room also hosts live music and after-work gatherings, and the group has since added Sarnies Roastery on Soi Ton Son and outlets at One Bangkok and elsewhere. It sits in Bang Rak on the Charoen Krung riverside strip, about a 4-minute walk from BTS Saphan Taksin. Hours are listed as 08:00-21:00 daily by a May 2026 check, though other listings differ; reservations run through Chope.
