Siam Center
Rama I Road (next to Siam Paragon), Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
Daily 10:00-22:00

Siam Center is one of Bangkok's oldest shopping centres, opened on 29 January 1973 on Rama I Road in Pathum Wan and developed, owned and managed by Siam Piwat. Renovated several times, including after a fire in 1997, it relaunched on 11 January 2013 as Siam Center The Ideaopolis and now presents itself as a creative cultural capital and a showcase for Thai designers, with floors named Fashion Avenue (G), Fashion Galleria (M), Fashion Visionary (1F) and Food Factory (2F); its 2026 programme included the Siam Center Super Culture: Neo-Thai event and features on Thai-crafted accessories and multi-brand stores. The mall stands directly at BTS Siam station, the Sukhumvit and Silom line interchange, with Exit 2 connected to Siam Center and Exit 3 to Siam Paragon next door; Siam Discovery adjoins it by bridge, and taxis and Grab pick up at Gate 5 on the G floor by Discovery Plaza. Open every day 10:00-22:00; entry is free, and the call centre is +66 2 658 1000.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (30,000 reviews). Not our own visit.
Reviewers appreciate the roomy layout, mid-range prices, Thai designer labels and a clean food court, right by the BTS.
Few complaints surface, but it feels more like a quick design-and-fashion stop than a full-day mall.
