Siam Serpentarium
969 Luang Phaeng Road, Thap Yao, Lat Krabang, Bangkok 10520
Daily 10:00-15:00 (last entry 14:00)

Siam Serpentarium is a snake-themed attraction on Luang Phaeng Road in Lat Krabang, on Bangkok's eastern edge near Suvarnabhumi Airport. It has three parts: an immersive museum that walks you through a snake's life with sound, light and walk-through sets; Snake Planet, with more than 70 species from around the world, including anacondas, cobras and pythons; and a theatre with a light-and-sound show and live snake-handling demonstrations. Guides lead visitors through the exhibits, and at the end you can hold a python or boa. Families with children rate it highly, though some visitors find the handling show hard on the snakes. The official site lists daily hours of 10:00 to 15:00, with last entry at 14:00, and adult tickets have been listed at about 350 to 400 baht. Take the Airport Rail Link to Lat Krabang, then a taxi.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (2,410 reviews). Not our own visit.
Visitors love seeing dozens of snake species up close, the guided museum and the chance to hold a python, and children especially enjoy it.
It is a long way from central Bangkok, and some visitors found the snake show rough on the animals and the shop selling snake products off-putting.
