Sky Bar by lebua is the circular open-air bar on the 64th floor of State Tower, the 247 metre tower on Silom Road in Bang Rak completed in 2001. It has operated for more than two decades as part of The Dome, lebua's cluster of rooftop restaurants and bars, and appeared in The Hangover Part II. Guests come at dusk for the view over the Chao Phraya and the city, the colour-changing island bar and the Hangovertini, the cocktail created for the film's cast; drinks only, no food is served. BTS Saphan Taksin is about 5 minutes on foot. Open daily 17:00-00:30, last orders 00:15. No reservations are taken; entry is walk-in with a minimum of one drink per person, and signature cocktails cost 1,300-1,500 baht plus 10 percent service and 7 percent tax. Dress is smart casual: no sleeveless shirts for men, athletic wear, swimwear or flip-flops. Large bags, tripods and video recording are not permitted, and children aged 7 and over are admitted with an adult.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (25,000 reviews). Not our own visit.
Guests come for the dramatic open-air setting on the 64th floor with sweeping city views, especially around sunset.
Drinks are very expensive, there are often long waits for the lift, and the dress code and service can feel inconsistent.
