Sloth Coffee Bar is a small coffee shop on the ground floor of the U Center 1 student residence on Soi Chulalongkorn 42, in the Sam Yan area close to MRT Sam Yan. The room is bright and compact, done out in yellow and white around a sloth mascot, with a handful of seats and a counter that also sends out many delivery orders. People come for carefully made espresso drinks at student prices: you can pick a house blend or a single-origin bean, and reviewers single out the Americano with yuzu and lemon, the dirty coffee and the Uji matcha latte. Most drinks cost under 100 baht, and regulars collect points towards discounts. It works best as a quick stop for a takeaway cup between classes or errands rather than a long work session.
