Sühring is the modern German restaurant of twin chefs Thomas and Mathias Sühring, open since 2016 in a restored 1970s villa at 10 Yen Akat Soi 3 in Yan Nawa near Sathorn. It entered the inaugural Michelin Guide Thailand in 2018 with one star, rose to two in 2019 and was promoted to three stars in the 2026 edition announced in November 2025, joining Sorn as the country's only three-star restaurants. The tasting menus draw on German home cooking with fermenting, pickling and curing, and press single out Wildpastete, a game pâté in pastry. No station is close; BTS Chong Nonsi and MRT Lumphini are about 2 km away, so take a taxi. Lunch runs Thursday to Sunday and dinner Wednesday to Sunday; closed Monday and Tuesday. Menus are reported at 7,800 and 9,800 baht before service and VAT, booked via SevenRooms up to 60 days ahead. Dress is smart casual, with trousers and proper shoes requested for men; late cancellations may cost 5,800 baht a person.
