Supanniga Eating Room (Sathorn 10)
28 Soi Sathorn 10, North Sathorn Road, Silom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Daily 11:30-14:30, 17:30-24:00

Supanniga Eating Room on Sathorn Soi 10 is the second Bangkok branch of the Thai home-cooking restaurant that began on Thonglor, open here since late 2015. The menu draws on the owner's grandmother's recipes from Trat on the eastern seaboard and from Khon Kaen, so expect dishes such as moo cha muang, pork stewed with sour cha muang leaves, crunchy cabbage fried with fish sauce, pu jah crab and panang beef curry, plus a wine list. The three-storey space is more modern than the original, with a wall of coloured thread spools inspired by Isan silk weaving. It is a short walk from BTS Saint Louis, Exit 3. It opens daily for lunch, 11:30 to 14:30, and dinner, 17:30 to midnight. Prices are mid-range to upscale, and booking is possible online.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (1,461 reviews). Not our own visit.
Diners rave about the stewed pork with cha muang leaves, the crunchy fish-sauce cabbage and the crab dishes, served in a stylish but relaxed room by friendly staff.
Some find a few dishes, like the steamed crab, less exciting than the hype, and the bill adds up quickly for Thai food.
