Swing Bar by ChingCha is a casual rooftop bar on the 6th and 7th floors of the ChingCha Bangkok hostel on Siri Phong Road, right beside the Giant Swing in the old town. From the terrace you look over the Giant Swing, Wat Suthat, City Hall and, further off, the Golden Mount, and sunset is the main event, so tables fill soon after it opens at 17:00. The list leans on local and international craft beer, with cocktails, mocktails and Thai and international bar food such as spicy beef salad and fries. Prices are modest for a rooftop, with most drinks and dishes at roughly 100 to 250 baht. There is no lift, so expect six flights of narrow stairs. Open daily 17:00 to midnight; MRT Sam Yot is about 10 minutes on foot.
