Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin, the Train Night Market, is the original branch of the vintage-themed night market chain founded in 2010 by antiques dealer Pairod Roikaew on railway land near Chatuchak; when that site was cleared for Bang Sue station in 2013 the market moved to Srinagarindra Soi 51, behind Seacon Square in eastern Bangkok. It is an open-air site of warehouses, antique dealers, classic cars, rockabilly barbershops, retro clothing and home decor, with a large food zone of grilled seafood, Thai desserts and unusual snacks, open-air bars and live bands; the Bangkok Post in 2016 ranked it the city's most popular night market, and it draws a mostly local crowd. The MRT Yellow Line monorail stops at Suan Luang Rama IX (YL15), whose Exit 1 is at the market entrance, and buses 133, 145, 206 and 207 stop at Seacon Square. Open Thursday to Sunday 17:00-01:00, closed Monday to Wednesday; entry is free. Stalls fill in after 19:00, so Friday to Sunday evenings are the fullest.
