Wanatham Park
Soi Premier 1 (Yaek 14), Nong Bon, Prawet, Bangkok 10250
Daily 05:00-21:00

Wanatham Park, also written Wanadharm, is a small public park run by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in Nong Bon, Prawet, and was the city's first park designed around Buddhist teachings. Opened in 2009, it covers about 6 hectares split by ponds into three zones joined by bridges, with a Dharma library, shaded meditation corners and trees associated with Buddhism. Locals come to walk or jog the paved loop, feed the fish and turtles, and enjoy a calm, uncrowded alternative to the bigger parks nearby. It sits off Soi Premier 1, not far from Srinakarin Road and Paradise Park mall; the closest rail stops are Si Udom and Suan Luang Rama 9 on the MRT Yellow Line, then a short taxi ride. Open daily 05:00 to 21:00, entry is free, and there are toilets and parking.
Rating from public reviews
Each part combines public reviews from several sites (354 reviews). Not our own visit.
Visitors like how calm, shady and well kept it is, with few people around, a clean track for jogging and good lighting for evening runs.
It is small, so runners end up doing short repeated laps and there is little open lawn for a picnic.
